iPhone 14 Pro 6.1 inch Unicorn Beetle Pro Rugged Case-Metallic Blue

I have been a big fan of this case since my iPhone XR I dropped this one at least a 100x and my phone is still in good condition. But then I purchased the case for my IPhone 14 Pro Max. I had issues with the case twice. First the edge of the front screen broke. Then the plastic screen got loose. Then when I removed the plastic I destroyed my tempered glass because the pressure of the outer edge is not compatible with a tempered glass screen ( it causes air bells underneath the glass. )And then, just , from hip hight it dropped out of my pocket onto a Little marble which hit my camera lens which cracked the entire back. I must be the only person in the world who’s phone did not survive a non military life. I think the bigger the phone the harder it must be to create something safe for butter fingers like mine. I loved you, but it’s time to say goodbye Unicorn🥺

This case comes in three parts. One is for a belt, which I don’t require. The other two fit well. The top fits extremely well and is a bit tight to place into the bottom section. You need a bit of patience, but it does fit well and completely encloses the iPhone 14 Pro. Hopefully it stops the phone from breaking if it’s dropped!

Best Case there is

The case itself is pretty sturdy for my standard iPhone 14 pro however, one of the important parts for me is the back piece that turns into a stand, this piece broke after a couple of weeks, the back piece that would unfold and turn into a tripod for the camera would not stay lockedin the case anymore and now recently the piece of the tripod that Bends in half to form the tripod has totally snapped off, I’m not sure if this is a fluke is it just that I got a bad case or does this happen to all of them, not too happy about it*** It would be nice if the company sent me out another case since this one seems like it was faulty? Just saying . But like I said, other than the tripod piece, snapping off of the back, the case itself has been doing a good job of protecting my iPhone

Overall, the backside of the case is sturdy and seems well made, the “screen protector“, not so much. I bought to replace an Otterbox that kept allowing my phone to fall out. While this case does hold my phone more securely, it also allows dust or other particles to easily get between the phone screen and the screen cover (protector). This causes an endless cleaning cycle if you don’t like things against your phone screen. The kickstand is handy for viewing whether vertically or horizontally. Doesn’t seem as heavy as my Otterbox.

These cases are incredible! I had one for 3+ years on a Google phone & it never broke! It was dropped many 1000 times, down stairs, thrown across rooms (I have 4 kids 😂) & it NEVER failed me...ever!!!!! My family, ok, (my kids & me especially) really put this to the ultimate tests. It never disappointed me. I will say my front cover looked a weeeeee rough from the insanity it was dealt...but my phone was perfect! So I bought one for my husband's new phone & one for my new iphone 14pro...I already dropped mine on tile floors, concrete & more more times than I'd like to admit to in the last few weeks. I even dropped it in the iphone store & the genius panicked a bit & I had to calm him down & let him know you can't kill this case in my opinion lol. He said he would recommend it to others & said he would never regret that recommendations.*I tried a dropcase on my new iphone14 thinking hey they'll refund you if your phone breaks ...um four days in & with only a 2foot drop the screen protector was BROKEN & the side was chipped... immediately I looked to return that junk & buy another Unicorn beetle sup case.. I'll never try a different case again if I can help it! To be fair...I tried to get this case FIRST sup case didn't have them out yet when I got my phone... therefore I tried something else because I'm not the person to not have a phone case that is super protective (guilty face). We all have our faults & I have 4 kids, lose pockets, lack of time, & always on the go...I will say for SOME ppl a negative would be these are always going to be much bulkier than many cases. That bulk saves your phone (trust me) & a lot of those cute dainty cases are SLICK... You better buy the insurance if you need to look that cute just saying 😂. They will slip through your fingers, & off your folder, box or anything you are also carrying, & slip out of your pocket ---all of those scenarios happened to me the 4 days I used the dropguys case...that is junk.

I like these cases. They have been my go to for my last three phones. Kick stand works well.The built in screen cover is convenient and functional but ugly. Touch screen works well through the screen cover. However the grid like patter is visible at most angles and the plastic shows finger prints much more than glass.Here’s what I do- I leave the screen cover on until it gets all scratched up. This happens very quickly. Then I remove the built in screen cover and get a glass one. Just be careful not to get one that is edge-to-edge. The case will pry it up and shatter the edges.Despite this, still my favorite case. I am very abusive to my phones and tend to fling or drop them daily. One of my iphones lasted for 6 years, no damage, with this case. I replaced the case once when it had started to stain after 3 years.

Have a Supcase for my IPad also are well made nice built in stand for videos.

I have been using supcase products for my galaxy note 9 and other phones and love the complete protection they have been offering. Same for iPhone 14 pro too.Pros:Great case and tightly packed protection. Good 1 inch hard rubber protection between the phone and outside and thats peace of mind. Display protection is better raised and even camera protection too.Cons:You will not be able to easily apply it with tempered glass so you have you remove the tempered glass and apply the plastic shell.The plastic screen protector does an okay job and feels smooth but I am a bit worried on how much it cna absorb occasional impacts to the screen like something dropping (keys, coins etc.)
