Galaxy S22 Ultra Unicorn Beetle PRO Rugged Case-Burgundy

Ive been a customer for the last 4 phones Ive had these past 10 years. Impeccable quality and great warranty comes with the case.

This was an awesome case for the price I love this item I had an Otterbox that cost three times as much and this one is actually identical in almost every way at a third of the price

Dropped 1 time and it cracked at the bottom.

I add my voice to the ever growing chorus of users who love the protection, but are frustrated with the flimsy kickstand/finger holder. After I purchased this vintage 2022 case in mid 2023, one of the tiny hinge nubs broke after a few months, the other after about a year. I use the kickstand a lot. Conceptually, it's a great feature and very helpful... when it works. It doesn't feel all that comfortable on my finger, but neither is it painful.

I own a similar Poetic Spartan case. Reviews for the Poetic kickstand, which has a very similar design to the Supcase kickstand, highlight that it has the same problem with it being too flimsy. My Poetic kickstand is about equally difficult to dislodge from its closed, flat position. In my original review, I had forgotten that the Supcase kickstand was equally resistant to being dislodged when it was new, but became very easy to click in and out of flat storage position when one of the hinge nubs broke off.

I tried putting a drop of 3-in-1 Oil on the slots of my replacement case where the hinge nubs slide. It helps a tiny bit, but not much. I'm going to try not closing down the kickstand all the way to cut down on the number of times the hinge nubs get stressed. Maybe that will improve longevity.

The Poetic Spartan also does not have as much depth to protect the front screen when laying the phone flat with the screen down. The Supcase Beetle adds a little more thickness along the top and bottom bevel edges so that there is more clearance between the screen and whatever flat surface the phone is on when placed horizontally.

I have dropped my phone a few times while protected by the Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro. One drop did produce a crack in the thin, front, plastic frame, which is another fragile part, but that's not a big deal. It's barely noticeable and the case did its job protecting the phone. Supcase would do well to make the front frame more flexible and therefore less prone to cracking.

I use my phone with Samsung's home wireless chargers and an Andobil goose-neck, wireless mount and charger combo in my car and all chargers work perfectly and effectively as if the case wasn't there.

I use flexible IMBZBK screen protector sheets and their Lens protector on the back and they fit together very well with this case, despite another reviewer that had a problem with the fit.

Another reviewer noted that the rubbery, outer edge of the case did not fit perfectly and left a slight gap along the edge with the control buttons. I had that same experience with my first case, but my replacement case fits perfectly tight with no gaps anywhere. Maybe there was a slight production error with an earlier batch. If so, it seems fixed.

The burgundy color is beautiful and rare enough to serve as an eye-catching fashion statement when on display in the excellent, well designed, functional, rugged and useful belt clip holder. Plus, the unique and eye-catching color makes the phone highly unlikely to be mistaken for anyone else's whenever you're with a group either at home, at work or out on the town.

I purchased a second Unicorn Beetle Pro case because the protection is very good and necessary. I had hoped that the kickstand would have been redesigned after two years of customer criticism, but alas, it has not.

Please, Supcase, redesign the kickstand for these S22 cases to be more resilient, reliable and, if possible, a little more ergonomic before the next batch gets manufactured. If you do, your loyal customers will buy even more after they get improved performance.

I've been buying SUPCASE Cases for quite a few years with various Samsung cases and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM BROKE ON THE EXACTLY THE SAME PLACE. THE COVER STRAP BRAKES AND SNAPS AND EVERY SINGLE ONE... IM LOOKING FOR A DIFFERENT COMPANY WHO ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT THEIR FAULTS.. FED UP OF PAYING THE SAME £45 TO £50 POUNDS... CANT AFFORD ANY MORE. IM OFF AS DINT LIKE BEING RIPPED OFF. IM DISABLED AND NOT HAPPY WITH THIS SITUATION, YOU PEOPLE DONT CARE AS LESS THE MONEY KEEPS ROLLING..... ABSOLUTELY SICKENING.

Great case except it don't have bulit in screen protector

I absolutely love this case, however, I am disappointed in the durability of the plastic tabs on the kickstand. I use the kickstand all the time and I've been having to purchase a new case every 1-3 months because the tabs break and the kickstand falls off. They need to come up with a better way to secure the kickstand.

Excellent case for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.The color blended with the phone I purchased.My only issue is the rubber case. When opening the case, removing the frame from the protective rubber cover, I noticed a tiny split in the rubber from where I was advised to begin the separation process. Now I fear it will grow wider and eventually tear.

This is a great caseas far as keeping your phone protected. The kickstand however is flimsy and broke easily.
