I was very impressed with the SUPCASE Mouse Grip Adapter for the Nintendo Switch 2. The ergonomic design makes a huge difference, it fits comfortably in my hands and gives the Joy-Con controllers a much more natural, mouse-like feel, especially useful for shooter and strategy games. The aim assist function feels intuitive and adds an extra layer of control that enhances precision during gameplay. I also liked that it comes in a 2-pack, so I could set up both Joy-Cons easily or have a spare for multiplayer. In terms of functionality, it attaches securely, doesn't interfere with button access, and makes gameplay smoother and more immersive. Definitely a worthwhile accessory for any serious Switch 2 gamer.
Cheap and plasticy is the best way to describe these. Yes, they work, but only just. The ergonomics of these are much less ideal than what I was expecting and these are just not that comfortable to use. I find it more comfortable to use the joycons in mouse mode with the included straps and shroud you get in the box with your Switch 2. These do aid in not having the joycons tip over, but that is one of the few positives I can muster about this item.My biggest issue with these, especially considering the price, is the method that the joycons mount to these mouse grips. They are friction fit, which spits in the face of the whole point of the new Switch 2 joycons with their magnetic attachment. After installing these once, I really didn't like how hard it was to insert and detach these from the joycons and considering how expensive the Switch 2 joycons are, I want them to last as long as I can. So having a hard SNAP into and out of these grips is a no go for me, just too much unneeded strain on a high dollar item.My last not so positive thing about these is the fact the skates on the bottom of the grips in just about non existent. Now I wasn't expecting the highest end PTFE skates to totally cover the base or anything, but with these grips you are getting four TINY dots that act as the feet. The slightest downward pressure overcomes those feet and the whole thing just drags on a mouse pad versus gliding smoothly. I think you get more overall surface area of gliding material with the included straps than is provided with these grips. If these were around $5 I would be more generous with the rating, but at the asking price of $16 I can't overlook these issues. Be warned.
I grabbed these SUPCASE mouse grips for my Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Cons specifically for the new mouse-mode Mario Party, and they make a difference! The comfort these grips provide is fantastic, making it much easier to hold the Joy-Cons steady. My precision and reaction time feel so much better. They snap on easily and fit perfectly. If you play Mario Party on your Switch 2, especially those pointer-style games, these are a must-have!
I own multiple SUPCASE products and they are all high quality, so these mouse grips are surprisingly bad. The Joycons barely fit into the slot, and they are held in by two extremely rigid clips that will definitely scratch the Joycon over time. It is also incredibly difficult to remove the Joycons since you have to use you fingernail to dislodge the very stiff clips, which is borderline impossible to do. The shape is not particularly ergonomic, and there is almost no teflon padding on the underside. I rarely give 1-star reviews, but there is really no redeeming factor to these, it is a bad product all around.
This company's Switch 2 product line is substandard. Avoid purchasing these items, as they risk damaging your Joy-Cons. It appears they prematurely released Switch 2 accessories to capitalize on market demand. While I appreciate their other offerings, I recommend seeking alternative Switch 2 accessories from other brands.
I got this after trying another brand's grip that covered the buttons on the side. While this one fixes that, it feels way too uncomfortable to use, maybe because there's no rest on the inner side of the hands. On top of that, it locks the joycons SO TIGHT, that it's extremely hard to remove them, it scratched all the metal parts of my joycons, just to take it off.
These cheap things are too tight of a fit. I imagine having to remove them several times would damage the remote. They were too cheap to design this thing to have a looser fit and add magnets to it to hold it in place.
would not fit the joycons for the switch 2 when they had their protective case on
Pros:- The material is hard plastic, which is durable.- The base is large so it provides for stable compared to using the Joy-Con by itself.- Simplistic design.Cons:- The Joy-Con connects via friction. I don't like it because the tabs may scratch the Joy-Con over time.- The mouse grip does not contour around your hand very well. It feels awkward.
