Not sure just yet. Havnt dropped it yet. I guess im not convinced it will keep the computer safe. I think its kinda like a gun safe in a fire where yes the safe is safe but it cooks everything inside. Cell phone case i trust because phones are light. Heavy macbook 16” im not so sure. Definitely keep it from scratching though i guess

Durable and sleek
I bought this to replace a lesser case that I purchased last year, which didn’t hold up very well.This is not that case. This Beetle case feels solid, and I expect it to hold up considerably better than the case it’s replacing. The design aesthetics are very nice too, and it’s not just another boring single-color case.Installation was as simple as snapping the two halves onto my MBP. The bottom half did require a little more finessing; the clips couldn’t quite fit until I opened the lid to finish seating it.Overall, I’m pretty happy with it.

Durability Issues
After 4/5 weeks, the product has durability issues such as it is coming a part from the MacBook. When we carry the MacBook with the lid open, the case keeps coming off and had to put it back in tact every time. I would suggest buying which will fix these issues.
