Case did provide protection from many falls, however, when the phone fell directly onto the charging port area (while closed) it caused the phone to come out of alignment at the hinge. This caused the phone to become inoperable as the phone couldn't be opened without tearing up the screen at the fold.

I love the ease of of putting it on my phone and I love that I could get the purple case to match my phone. I have dropped it and I was thankful for the case because there was no damage to the phone and not a scratch on the case. I don't use the clip attachment because it just makes it too bulky for me but I hear there is a string attachment for your wrist. I will search and see because that would be perfect for me.
