Samsung + MagSafe: How It Works

Unlike iPhones, Samsung Galaxy phones do not include built-in MagSafe magnets. SUPCASE solves this by embedding N52-grade neodymium magnets directly into every UB Grip and UB Pro Mag case. Once the case is on, your Samsung phone gains full Qi2 / MagSafe compatibility, magnetic chargers, MagSafe wallets (like the SUPCASE MagFlip), battery packs, and car mounts all snap on and align automatically.

The standard UB Pro does not include magnets but still supports regular Qi wireless charging through the case.

Do all Samsung phones use the same case?

There are many different shapes, sizes, and camera setups for Samsung phones. For example, Samsung Galaxy S26 cases and Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus case designs are not interchangeable, even within the same generation. A case that fits one device could restrict ports, buttons, or even the camera on another. A clear compatibility chart saves time, money, and trouble.

Do Samsung Galaxy phones support MagSafe and Qi2 out of the box?

No. Unlike iPhones, Samsung Galaxy phones do not include built-in MagSafe magnets. To use Qi2 magnetic chargers, MagSafe wallets, battery packs, or car mounts with your Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra case or Samsung S25 Plus case, you need a case with integrated magnets. SUPCASE models like the UB Grip and UB Pro Mag all include built-in N52-grade magnets that add MagSafe / Qi2 support to your Samsung phone. The standard UB Pro does not add magnets but still supports regular Qi wireless charging.

Do SUPCASE cases work with the S Pen?

Yes, on models that support S Pen. The Galaxy S Ultra series includes a built-in S Pen. All SUPCASE Galaxy S26 Ultra case and Samsung S25 Ultra case models have a precise cutout at the bottom for easy S Pen insertion and removal. The S Pen charges inside the phone as usual. Non-Ultra models do not have an S Pen and do not require this cutout.

Does SUPCASE offer cases for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold?

Yes. SUPCASE makes cases for both the Z Flip and Z Fold lines, including the latest Z Flip7 and Z Fold7. Foldable phone cases require specialized hinge-friendly designs that allow the phone to open and close without obstruction. SUPCASE foldable cases provide drop protection for both the front and back panels while keeping the hinge area functional.

Can I use a Galaxy S25 case on a Galaxy S26?

No. Each Galaxy S generation has different dimensions, camera layouts, and button placements. A Samsung S25 Ultra case will not fit a Galaxy S26 Ultra case, and vice versa. Similarly, a Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus case will not fit a Galaxy S26 Plus case. The same applies to the standard models as well. Always select a case designed for your exact phone model and generation.

Yes. Every SUPCASE Samsung case includes a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. This applies across all Galaxy S26 cases, Samsung Galaxy S26 cases, Samsung Galaxy S25 case variants, and the full Z Flip, Z Fold, and Galaxy Tab lineup. If your case arrives damaged or develops a defect during normal use, contact SUPCASE customer support for a replacement. The warranty does not cover damage from extreme impact or normal wear and tear.
