This is a really nice case. The button over the camera control button is a nice added touch and it does a great job functionally. The raised edges are great for setting my phone screen down. The one thing I'm not a fan of is that the volume buttons and action button have no feeling of separation. It's like they are all one big button. I use the volume up and down buttons a lot through my pants and it's almost impossible with this case on.
Main reason I purchased this for me and my partners new iPhone 16 Pro Max phones is the famous “it's not a button but it is a button” it genuinely 100% works no issues at all probably the first 3rd market case of its kind, don't shell out more for ESR or cut outs buy this you won't regretUnfortunately I could only get clear for both when I wished they would of stocked the frosted black it's the only thing that's annoying as me and my partner have the same 1TB spec colour etc of the Pro Max but yes I do recommend
one touch to turn on camera.2 touch to turn on camera mode than touch the camera screen mode to adjust or set the mode. You do not have to touch the camera mode button, just touch the mode screen It is much easier. To exit touch anywhere on the screen easy.
Pros:- This is a very cool clear case. Show off the new Desert color of the iPhone 16 Pro Max.- The kick stand is very slick. It works in both Portrait and Landscape mode.- The kick stand is also metal, so it works just fine with MagSafe!- There's a proper capacitive button for the new Camera Control.Cons:- The Camera Control button isn't very responsive ... but that could be the Camera Control button itself and not the case.I absolutely recommend this case. I love the kick stand!
My feedback for the UB MAG STAND CASE: when it comes to the overall design it is very comfortable in the hand to hold, grippy enough for any user especially with the MagSafe stand tends to help with holding the phone as well. The cameral control button is very responsive and can use with ease with the cameral control functions and swipes. The cut outs for the charging of the phone and audio cut outs are very good and have great openings especially for charge the phone. All buttons are responsive and easy to press. The lip of the case protecting the front of the phone is very good especially when laying down on a table, as well as the camera cut out on the back on the phone giving good lip protection from being laid down. I'd say two things I would possibly adjust would be the audio switch cut outs to be more separate from each other meaning giving a indentation in between the up and down volume rocker just to have that separation and when it comes to the cameral control button on the case just to be more rigid and not move so much, it feels a bit flimsy not enough that it'll break or come off easily but just to feel more secure. I can't say anything about the scratch resistance or yellowing of the case since it has just arrived but hope to see it last and not yellow or yellow as fast like other clear cases.
This clear case for iPhone 16 Pro Max gives pretty good protection to the front and back with the raised edges and around the camera bank also with a raised edge around the cameras. I have a platinum phone and love the color so being able to see the case color through this case is a good feature. I am like some other reviewers in that it would be helpful if they added some ridges or a rough texture to the sides because it is pretty slick and easy to drop due to not having anything significant to grab except for the slick sides. I have adapted my grip and hope that I can get used to that and not drop my new phone. As for the camera button, it seem that SUPCASE has put a great deal of effort into making this function as well as the phone's camera button without a cover. However, I am finding it to be a little lacking in responsiveness. It does have the slide and pressure sensitivity, but its not as good as the button on the phone so you need to "learn" how to us it properly. That is not to say that the button is not a good design because it is, but it is just not as sensitive as the original button. I think with a little practice I can learn how much to adjust my pressure and can adapt. The built in stand is a little flimsy feeling and seems like it might be easy to snap off, but so far it is doing fine. I can't stop myself from carrying the phone around by this stand which I am sure that is not what it is for, but it does feel good. Overall a good case with protection but doesn't change the phone much and the camera button seems like an improvement over cases that didn't do anything but cut out a hole.
This is a nice case and one of the only ones that include a cover the camera control button at the launch of iPhone 16 pro max in Sep 2024 that is not a cut out in the case. The input is the same as using no case. However the button, is loose and moves around and you will notice and hear a rattling when the phone vibrates for notifications. I guess the search is still on for a clear case that covers the camera control button with a built in kickstand.
