UB Grip Series Galaxy Z TriFold MagSafe Case

Really a nice case. Even included 2 screen protectors. One for privacy and another regular one. WIth fold phones the front protector always struggles with staying on because the adhesive strips fail...this even included extra strips should that happen. Very nice case for your trifold if you were fortunate enough to get one. With a $3k phone, spend the money and get the case.

Terrible adhesive strips. I had the original version of this case, and this is sub-par. Also the ring is facing the wrong way. It should turn. It should be mounted so that can hang properly when it's hooked on to a mount.

I was hoping to give this a 4.5 out of 5 stars, but it will not allow me to do so.

First the opportunities

* The coverage around the fingerprint/power button has some area of the phone exposed
* The kickstand could have had some rotational aspects of it
* Front casing could have been a bit more rigid and allow for no screen protector on it.

Now, the strengths of the product

* Very sturdy material on the backside
* Kickstand is strong enough to hold the entire phone when folded out
* Feels very good in the hand
* Cutouts are aligned very well

Overall, a solid product and I give Supcase A TON of credit, because even though this was a limited supplied phone, they stepped up when no one else did to make a quality case in the first place. Thanks Supcase. You have a loyal buyer from me from now on.

OUTSTANDING ACROSS THE BOARD! When you need protection for this crazily expensive device - THERE IS LITERALLY NO OTHER PROTECTION EVEN CLOSE TO SUPCASE. PEROID. You get what you pay for and I PAID FOR SUPCASE COMPLETE PROTECTION. I received that AND MORE.

SUPCASE Customer Support is SIMPLY AMAZING to say the least. SUPCASE Support definitely would make all Customer Support EVERYWHERE, and I mean it when I say everywhere, shudder to even comprehend just how good SUPCASE Customer Support truly are and what they're up against in comparison. I'm 63 and have experienced customer support everywhere and this is THE ABSOLUTE BEST I've ever experienced, hands down.

To the reviewer who suggested, "case design could use some work. Hinge protection is decent. Opening panel grip would been a good add-on considering the price", where exactly? Where would they place gripping without making this SUPCASE any bigger than it needs to be for no good reason and the hinges are more than enough to do what they're designed for.

Second question, why on earth would they redesign a case for a DISCONTINUED DEVICE. Hello?

This is a very sturdy case. It covers all 4 corners of the phone very nicely and has a good front screen protector. The case fits the phone well and the MagSafe Kickstand ring has good tension for holding the phone up on a table. I recently dropped it and the phone is still okay so the price is sort of justified.

It was very simple to install. It snaps onto the phone. It does add some bulk to the size of the phone, but I appreciate the protection.

If you’re even a little worried about dropping your phone, this case is basically armor. It’s definitely on the bulkier side, but that’s kind of the point and it feels really solid in your hand. The hinge coverage is a big deal for a phone like this, and everything lines up the way it should without feeling awkward to use. The built in kickstand is actually sturdy and not one of those flimsy ones you’re afraid to touch, so that’s been nice for watching stuff. I also like that it works with magnetic mounts and chargers without constantly slipping off. The screen protectors are a nice add on and save you from having to buy them separately. It’s not the sleek minimalist look, but if protection is your priority this one delivers without feeling cheap or gimmicky.
